About Civil Engineering
Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.
Entry Requirement:
- A-level: AAB-BBC
- IB: 20 overall
- Gaokao: Ranked above 60% locally
Aim
The aim of the programme is to provide students with professional skills in the design, construction and management of the civil infrastructure, as well as an awareness of environmental sustainability. This programme can equip students to play a key role in the industry of civil, environmental and construction engineering. During the study, students are trained with good communication skills so they can work effectively in large projects involving different parties and professions.
